In case you are interested in making your DIY projects, there are some things that may appeal you. Some of them are quite easy and simple while some require more determination and commitment. Some of them can be done with other people (your kids, your students, etc) while some can be done alone. The possibilities are endless, so feel free to use your imagination and boost your creativity.
Paper crafts are one of the oldest types of crafts that have existed even for centuries. You can basically make almost anything from papers – scrapbooks, greeting cards, party decorations, recycled papers, and so many more! You can even tag your kids along for fun and enjoyable work. If you are interested in origami, you can create various different shapes – from the simplest to the most complicated – by using various colorful papers. My sister used to create her own greeting cards, so whoever got the cards was always excited because they could get one of a kind card. The great thing about paper crafts is that you can always combine it with other materials, even with metal.
Mason Jar Craft
This is basically one of the simplest kinds of crafts when you only need to clean the mason jar and use it to store anything you like. You can create cute, colorful, and bright markers or papers for the jars. One of my friends has used such jar to store almost everything – sugar and spices, beans and beads for her craft projects, and even paper clips for her stationery. Believe me, there are loads of stuff that you can do to decorate the jars and make them look different. Use ribbons or lace. Use colorful papers or markers. You can never go wrong in decorating the jar.
Glass Vase Centerpiece
This kind of work requires extra work and detailed attention. You need to have more skills around the wood – using saw and nails – but the result will be worth it. You only need to have glass soda bottles (use the recycled ones) and wood for the frame. Create a boxy rectangular frame from whitewood or pine and then place the bottles within the frame. Once it is done, you can place any flowers for a breathtaking table centerpiece. Feel free to paint the frame or leave it on its natural state.
You probably think that you need to be very expert in making soaps or other bath products, but there are some sites on the net that provide recipes for DIY and natural bath products. By using natural ingredients, you can make your own bath products. Not only you will feel cleaner, fresher, and healthier, you can also make custom products that no one else has! Find those sites and be ready to start your projects!
