High Fives & Hugs,

***On a side note. I will be off next week. I had a pretty rough Thursday, and hope to be able to get up, and keep at it. Hubs wants to take me out today, so being with him will make me feel good. I appreciate the support as always. You guys (my readers) are some of the best, most truth telling, supporting group of people out there. I thank you for being interested in GIGS enough to visit daily.***

Stripe Me Up

I didn’t mean to walk in on this duvet, but it appeared at West Elm, and I was as happy as a kid on Christmas. There are wrinkles, but I love them. I love the lived in bed look. I have not purchased the pillows that I will use with the stripe duvet, so consider this a mock until that decision is made. I was so excited to share, I could not wait for pillows to post.

Anthro (cont…)

Happy Hump DAY! I had a wonderful Tuesday with the hopes of a wonderful opportunity, and I am excited with the possibilities. Good vibes for Tam guys!

Now. I cant very well shop at Anthropology, and not get the Ikat bowl that I have wanted for some time now. They are small bowls, but make a huge visual statement. So pretty.

I also have my eye on these as well. The set below is the perfect palette for a twenty something, moving into her first place. I love it.

Aren't these just absolutely loveable? They are props inside of Madewell. I was so in love with them. I sneaked, and looked at the bottom just to see if there was a price tag. Lets be honest, I knew they were props, but that little person in me wanted to see for sure.

GORG

If you’re a fan of #RHOA then you are aware that Cynthia Bailey, and Peter Thomas are now married. She was not a “runaway bride.” I think the gown is beautiful, and I could not help myself. I just had to post this photo.

Carry On…

Color Wheel

Every once and a while I will get an email from a reader asking about my daughters room, and when will I be done. Her room is an on, and off type project because of the state that her room seems to be in at times. So its all up to her, and consistency in my book. But I could not help myself, and decided to do this more for me than her just because I love these knobs so much.

These knobs match anything in my daughters room. I fell in love with them online a few days back, but they sold out by the time I decided to order them. Well I was at Anthropologie on Sunday, and there they were for $2.95…Such colorful beauties.

I think they totally enhanced the nightstand, and made it look even more pretty. There is just something about a color wheel that gives me the giggles, and makes me smile.

See how they flow with her green dresser, her aqua walls, the pink chair, her green bedding…Just everything. Swoon.

Price Check?

Ever go shopping, and find such a good deal you must share? Well here is mine. The Gap was having a great sale. Take 50% off of all sale items. Now is the time to snag snag snag whatever is left at your local GAP. The lines were crazy long. I almost didn’t make my purchase due to the crowd. But…lucky me. I brought my son to stand in line for me. It was insane, but I think I walked away with a few good items for a great price.

Did anyone else happen to snag up some good deals this weekend?

New Sponsor- Stella & Dot (Tracy Bennett)

There are tons of "work from home" jobs out there, including the many direct sales jobs now in full swing with this economy, but Tracy Bennett of Irving, Texas somehow saw something different in Stella & Dot. In 2008, she was laid off from a successful run in Advertising/Graphic Design for a little over 8 years. Although that was what her degree was in and she painstakingly worked to get that BFA, she decided after the layoff and her first child, it was time to throw in the towel for something more rewarding personally and as a mother and wife. Stella & Dot fell into her lap from a friend of her hubby's one night and he knew the woman who is now her Star Director. Tracy found out that  there was a local Opportunity Session just down the street from her. Could there be a bigger sign than this? The following week she went, and the rest is history.RevivalTassle101011352_USA_.indb

Tracy has now been utilizing the modern business model of Stella & Dot to create her own career, on her own terms, by having trunk shows to showcase their incredibly handmade and designed jewelry as girls nights out and personal style sessions. She helps wardrobe those that need a little updating, have never worn jewelry, or those that just love it all! Their jewelry is designed in New York by Blythe Harris who studied at Parsons in France, studied in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and traveled the world for her design inspirations. The styles from Stella & Dot are now worn by celebs such as Barbara Walters, Debra Messing, Penelope Cruz and Jennifer Love-Hewitt. They have been in InStyle magazine 12 times, Lucky magazine, O!, Redbook and Better Homes & Gardens to name a few.

Here are a few fabulous pieces from the new Moroccan Collection.

Oh Yeah

I was clicking through my inspiration files and these two beauties. Yes I love the rug. I love the black doors, and white décor. I could stare all day. The sequin is just swoon love that I must share. The palette represents the colors I love. I have a few to share later.

And on another note. Thank you Marshalls for putting these on the shelf. For once I didn’t have to drive a gazillion miles to snap up the sheepskin.

And this right here has me on the fence. You guys know I love NY, and I love anything that has a look similar to this one. My walls are tall so when I see something long or wide. I am snagged instantly by what it can do.
